Due to the current COVID-19 regulations, it will come as no surprise that the following social events

are being cancelled :

a) Magna Carta Day (13/6)

- this will not go ahead this year in the High Street but will be back in 2021.

b) Egham Royal Show (29-30/8)

- the ERS Committee has now advised that “it is with great regret, after careful consideration and due

diligence, our Management Committee and our Trustees have taken the decision to cancel the Egham

Royal Show 2020, which was due to take place on 29th and 30th August 2020. We promote a great

variety of horticultural and agricultural themes to celebrate and enjoy as a key aspect of British

history. We will be back in 2021”……………….

c) ERA Barn Dance (29/8)

- as this was going to be held in the main ERS marquee, this event has unfortunately also been

cancelled for this year.
